The elephant was just amazing. She was working with a road crew clearing eucalyptus logs. She held a heavy rope and chain in her mouth and hauled the logs with them. She stacked the logs, then coiled the chain with her trunk to carry it back to where she started. Several cars had stopped by the side of the road to watch-but it seemed like we were in the middle of nowhere. What an unexpected treat!
